II. Context & Challenge
The Context
As a leading B2B2C community service platform, Smart Daily's website is the primary discovery portal for property managers. Following a major UI overhaul of the mobile apps, the website required a synchronized visual upgrade to maintain its market-leading authority.
The Problem
Identity Fragmentation: The legacy site felt disconnected from the modern app experience, causing brand confusion.
Low Informational Velocity: Potential clients struggled to understand complex SaaS solutions due to poor content hierarchy.
Inadequate RWD: Poor mobile performance hindered business development presentations and casual user browsing.
The Goals
Systemic Unity: Fully implement the Design System to ensure brand integrity across all touchpoints.
Clarity & Impact: Restructure IA to showcase value propositions within the first 10 seconds of interaction.
Universal Access: Deliver high-performance RWD to support sales teams on any device.
III. Design Process
Methodology & Strategic Decisions
A. Challenge & Goal Synthesis
Strategic Pillar: As a growth-stage company, the site needed to act as a high-trust conversion engine. I set out to achieve absolute brand alignment using the new Design System while fixing the fragmented mobile UX.
B. Strategy & Information Architecture
Journey Mapping: Mapped distinct flows for B2B partners vs. B2C residents. The resulting IA prioritized "Enterprise Solutions" to drive sales leads while keeping resident FAQ access intuitive.
Visual Hierarchy: Designed the hero section to present the Value Proposition instantly, reducing bounce rates by clarifying product purpose at the first glance.
C. Visual & RWD Execution
Design System Scaling: Migrated the core mobile design tokens to web viewports, maintaining a "Tech-Forward" aesthetic.
RWD Logic: Executed complex layout shifts between desktop (3-column) and mobile (vertical stack) without losing content integrity or information density.
D. Collaboration & QA
Engineering Delivery: Provided a comprehensive RWD spec sheet in Figma. I worked side-by-side with the front-end team to ensure that responsive breakpoints were smooth and that assets were optimized for speed.
